VoiceFlow 2.0.0 for Windows

Speak. Command. Paste.

VoiceFlow turns your voice into text anywhere on Windows. Dictate naturally, ask AI to handle a task, or rewrite copied text from a tiny always-ready orb.

Windows 10/11 | English dictation | No account required | Optional Groq API key for AI features

RECORDING
Hold, speak, release

Use your voice without leaving the app you are in.

VoiceFlow pastes the result back at your cursor and restores your previous clipboard content automatically.

DICTATION MODE

Hold Ctrl + Space

Speak naturally, then release. VoiceFlow transcribes your audio locally with Whisper and pastes the text wherever your cursor is.

AI COMMAND MODE

Hold Shift

Speak a request, then release. Ask a question, summarize copied text, translate content, or request a small code edit. A Groq API key is required.

Small orb. Useful toolkit.

Right-click the orb whenever you need more than voice dictation.

01

Clipboard rewrites

Fix grammar, change tone, shorten, humanize, translate to Hindi, summarize, or turn copied text into notes.

02

App-aware cleanup

Optional AI cleanup adapts dictated text for chats, email, docs, prompts, and code tools.

03

Local transcription

Your audio is processed on your computer with the bundled Whisper model. Audio is not uploaded.

04

Recent results

Open the orb menu to copy one of your latest 20 results or clear the history when you want.

05

Practical settings

Choose a microphone, speech sensitivity, and maximum recording duration. Launch-at-startup is optional.

06

Built for daily use

Pre-buffered audio catches your first word, one-instance protection prevents duplicates, and pasting restores your clipboard.

Install and start speaking.

The current release is a small friend beta. Setup is straightforward, with one expected Windows warning while the app remains unsigned.

1

Download VoiceFlow

Download VoiceFlow.exe, then open the file to launch the Windows app.

2

Allow the beta app

Windows may show Unknown publisher. Choose More info, then Run anyway. Code signing is planned for a wider public release.

3

Choose your setup

Basic dictation works immediately. For AI commands and rewrites, enter a free Groq API key from console.groq.com when prompted.

Keep these shortcuts close.

  • Ctrl + Space Hold to dictate, release to paste.
  • Shift Hold to speak an AI command, release to paste.
  • Backspace Cancel an active recording.
  • Escape Press twice quickly to quit VoiceFlow.
  • Right-click the orb for settings, rewrite actions, recent results, and startup behavior.

What to expect in 2.0.0.

  • Windows 10 or Windows 11 is required.
  • Dictation is English-only for now.
  • Hotkeys may not work inside apps running as Administrator.
  • The API key is stored in Windows Credential Manager, not a plain-text file.
  • AI features send text to Groq only when you choose to use them.

Copy text, then tell VoiceFlow what you need.

"Translate the copied text into Telugu."

Use command mode after copying a message or paragraph.

"Summarize the copied text in one sentence."

Turn long content into a quick answer without switching windows.

"Make this email sound more professional."

Or use the ready-made clipboard rewrite menu from the orb.
